![]() The general theme of all these events, for those wondering, will be “Discrimination based on Gender Identity and Sexuality” as well as minor themes of “Freedom of Movement” and “Gender-based violence.” We will kick start the year with a collaboration during Freshers’ Week with the Women in Business (WIB) subcommittee of the Student Managed Fund Society (SMF) where both student and guest speakers will give speeches and a panel discussion will be held followed by light brunching and mingling – the goal to help create friendships amongst women and gender minorities in both the SMF and Law Society. The TWIL subcommittee for the 89 the session is back stronger than ever for a year filled with fantastic events. The aim of TWIL as a sub-committee is to always be intersectional in its approach to feminism and to ensure the voices of minorities are heard. ![]() The aim of TWIL is to help empower women and gender-minorities in law and law related fields.
